Otter Falls: Cold Autum Camping Trip

    Red Fox Otter Falls

Can you believe I never went camping once this summer? I couldn’t stand this fact and booked a last minute trip to Otter Falls campground in Manitoba. How would I sum it up? One word. COLD. We learned the hard way and made a list of cold weather camping tips to share so you don’t have to freeze like we did! British Columbia: A Mother and Daughter Adventure

    Feeding a Chickadee

This past March I hopped on a plane with my mom and flew to British Columbia. For the last few years Mom has been making this yearly trip to visit her sister and family. She invited me along this time for a little mother daughter adventure. Anyways dinner was great and I’m excited to keep learning more about my Ukrainian heritage which I barely know anything about except that cabbage rolls…

Trees have been an inspiration to me for as long as I can remember. I’ve been trying to think back and figure out when I became so fascinated by trees and I always think of my beloved childhood tree an Eastern Cottonwood. That tree and I grew up together and it was the definition of a grand gentle giant. Towering over every tree in the forest with a massive trunk that split into several limbs perfect for climbing and…
